Premium in Albion Online: Price in Silver, Benefits and Is It Worth It

Premium costs 3,750 gold for 30 days, and you can pay for it with silver: the game buys the gold for you at the Gold Market price. On 3 November 2026 that came to about 33.8 million silver on Americas, 35.5 million on Europe and 57.1 million on Asia. In return your character gets 50% more fame, gathering yield, and silver and loot from mobs, 10,000 Focus and 30 Learning Points a day, half the market tax, and the right to buy a personal island.

This guide covers the price of every package, how to pay with silver, what each benefit does, and how to work out whether Premium pays for itself the way you play.

How much Premium costs

The Premium screen sells four packages. Their gold prices come from the game's data files. The silver prices use the median gold price of the 24 hours to 19:00 UTC on 3 November 2026: 9,016 silver per gold on Americas, 9,471 on Europe and 15,218 on Asia.

Package Gold Gold per day Americas Europe Asia
1 month (30 days) 3,750 125 33.8M 35.5M 57.1M
3 months (90 days) 10,500 117 94.7M 99.4M 159.8M
6 months (180 days) 19,500 108 175.8M 184.7M 296.8M
12 months (360 days) 36,000 100 324.6M 341.0M 547.8M
  • Longer packages cost less per day. 12 months cost 100 gold a day, 20% less than the 125 gold a day of the 1-month package.
  • The silver price follows gold. Silver cost = gold cost × gold price. The Premium screen shows the exact silver price before you confirm.
  • You pay for every day, played or not. The 1-month package costs about 1.13 million silver a day on Americas, 1.18 million on Europe and 1.90 million on Asia.
Line chart of what 30 days of Premium cost in silver from November 2025 to November 2026: Asia rose from 39.5 to 57.1 million, Europe ended at 35.5 million and Americas at 33.8 million

Over the last year the silver price of 1 month moved between 27.2 and 33.8 million on Americas, 25.7 and 36.9 million on Europe, and 39.5 and 57.1 million on Asia. If you know you will keep Premium, a longer package bought while gold is cheap locks in a lower price per day.

How to buy Premium with silver

  1. Click the crown icon in the upper right corner of the screen to open the Premium screen.
  2. Pick 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. One month is 30 days.
  3. Click Pay Silver, check the price and confirm. Pay Gold spends gold you already have.

A few things to know before you buy:

  • Premium belongs to one character. It goes to the character you are playing, and if you delete that character, its Premium days go with it. Buy it on the character that gathers, crafts or farms.
  • Paying silver on the Premium screen has no purchase fee. The Gold Market charges a purchase fee when you buy gold directly, but not when you buy Premium, so buying gold first and then paying with it costs more.
  • Buying again extends it. The new days are added to the Premium you have left.
  • Real money works too. Premium is sold as a subscription of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months that renews automatically, and inside the bundles of the Albion Online store. You can cancel a subscription at any time and keep the Premium days you already have.

Free Premium from the tutorial

The Three Days of Premium item, a crown on a cushion

Finishing the tutorial gives you 3 days of Premium as a non-tradable item, Three Days of Premium. It does nothing until you select it in your inventory and click Use. Two limits apply to these free days:

  • They do not count for the login queue. When a server is full, characters with Premium get in first, but the free tutorial days are left out.
  • They are not enough for an island. The game's island tips say you need at least 7 days of Premium status to buy a personal island, and that you need to buy Premium once.

What Premium gives

Benefit With Premium Without Premium
Destiny Board fame +50% Normal
Silver from mobs +50% Normal
Loot from mobs +50% Normal
Gathering yield +50% Normal
Focus 10,000 per day, up to 30,000 Does not regenerate
Learning Points 30 per day 10 per day from the Adventurer's Challenge Daily Bonus
Market sales tax 4% 8%
Crop and herb yield Doubled Normal
Farm animal growth Twice as fast Normal
Personal island Can be bought Cannot be bought

The values come from the game's character data and its Premium store text. The first time you buy Premium you also get 30,000 Focus and 500 Learning Points once.

Fame and Learning Points

Every Destiny Board node earns 50% more fame with Premium, whether the fame comes from combat, gathering, crafting, refining, farming or studying. Sword Crafting Specialist, for example, needs 25,758,944 fame from level 0 to 100: that is 513 Elder's Broadswords with Premium and 770 without. The fame guide lists the fame of every activity.

Premium also adds 30 Learning Points a day, about 900 a month. With Quick Learn the fame you earn on a node counts five times while they last, and the Learning Points guide shows where each point saves the most.

Focus

Focus regenerates only while you have Premium: 10,000 a day, even while you are offline, up to a cap of 30,000. Spend it at least every three days and none of it is wasted. Focus raises the return rate when you refine and craft (refining in the resource's bonus city, from 36.7% to 53.9%), and it waters crops, nurtures animals and adds fame when you study. The Focus guide covers where it earns the most.

Market tax

Premium halves the sales tax from 8% to 4%. You pay it on every sale, whether you sell to a buy order or your sell order fills. The 2.5% setup fee for placing an order is the same with or without Premium. On an item that sells for 1,000,000 silver through a sell order, you keep 935,000 with Premium and 895,000 without.

Islands and farming

You need Premium to buy a personal island, but the island stays yours when Premium ends. With Premium, crops and herbs yield twice as much, farm animals grow twice as fast, and you have Focus to water and nurture them. The Island guide covers the costs and what to build.

Other things that need Premium

  • Adventurer's Challenge: the monthly rewards can only be claimed with Premium you bought (at least 7 days) that is active.
  • Faction Warfare: the weekly campaign rewards can only be claimed with purchased Premium.
  • Conqueror's Challenge: the Challenge bar only fills while Premium is active.
  • Guild Season rewards: you need Premium active when the season ends.
  • Arena: Premium increases match rewards by 50%.
  • Login queue: when a server is full, Premium characters get preferential access.
  • Several characters at once: to log in more than one character from the same device, every one of them needs active Premium.

What Premium does not change

  • Combat: Premium gives no damage, health or item power.
  • Resource return rate: Premium adds nothing to it by itself. The return rate only goes up when you spend Focus.
  • Setup fee and repairs: the 2.5% setup fee and repair costs are the same for everyone.

Is Premium worth it?

Premium is worth it when its bonuses earn you more silver than it costs. On Americas the 1-month package costs about 1.13 million silver a day. This is what each benefit would have to do on its own to cover that:

Benefit Pays for Premium on its own when
Focus Your 10,000 Focus a day earn about 113 silver of extra profit per point
Market tax You sell about 28 million silver of items a day
Silver from mobs Mobs drop about 2.25 million silver a day for you without Premium
Gathering yield You gather about 2.25 million silver of resources a day without Premium

On Europe the bar is about 4% higher, and on Asia about 70% higher. Most players use several bonuses at once, so in practice each one has to do much less. The Focus line is the easiest to check: the Crafting Calculator and Profitable Crafts show the Extra Profit / Focus of each craft, so you can compare it with that figure.

Premium usually pays off if you:

  • Play most days and gather, refine, craft, farm or kill mobs. The bonuses add up, and Focus and Learning Points keep coming on the days you do not play.
  • Want an island. You cannot buy one without it.
  • Are leveling the Destiny Board. 50% more fame takes a third off the time every node needs.

It can wait if you:

  • Are new and short on silver. Use the 3 free days from the tutorial, then make your first silver without it; the silver guide lists methods that do not need Premium.
  • Play a few hours a week. You pay for every day, Focus stops at 30,000 after three days, and the fame bonus only counts while you play, so much of what you pay for goes unused.

Once you have Premium, tick the Premium option in AFM's tools so their taxes and fame match your character: the Crafting Calculator, Destiny Calculator, Study Calculator, Trade Routes and Transport all have it.
