Albion Online Crafting and Refining Calculator

WHAT IS THIS TOOL?

The Craft Calculator plans complete crafting and refining operations in Albion Online. Add one item or an entire market category, configure the way each item will be crafted, and compare the expected cost, income, profit, fame, focus, and transport weight.

Calculations can include resource returns, station fees, market fees and taxes, journals, consumables, quality rerolls, hideout bonuses, custom expenses, and materials produced by another craft in the same plan.

KEY FEATURES

Build Complete Crafting Plans

Plan many items and recipes together, then include only the crafts you intend to run. Shared materials, outputs, totals, and weights are combined automatically.

Compare Opportunities Side by Side

Compare profit, margin, sales volume, fame efficiency, and focus efficiency with filters and sorting built for large item groups.

Market-Aware Pricing

Use sell orders, buy orders, market averages, EMV while logged in, or your own prices for every material and product. Choose a different market for each item.

Craft Materials Internally

Replace the market cost of an intermediate material with its own recipe. Required runs, internal consumption, raw material costs, and sellable surplus are linked automatically.

Accurate Resource Returns

Calculate RRR from the item, location, focus, daily bonus, and hideout power level, or enter a manual rate when you need to match a specific in-game setup.

Focus and Specialization

Apply your character specs to focus cost and crafted-item quality. Compare total profit per focus with the extra profit created specifically by using focus.

Quality and Reroll Planning

See the expected quality distribution, set a minimum quality target, estimate rerolls and silver cost, and inspect the result of each reroll round.

Runs and Transport Planning

Set runs manually or calculate them from available materials, daily sales, available focus, or the carrying capacity of a selected mount.

Detailed Results and Lists

Review every input, leftover, output, fee, tax, and additional cost. Shopping and selling lists group the final quantities by market and include transport weight.

Save Repeatable Operations

Save named craft groups for later, clone an existing setup, and record completed craft groups with their calculated totals in your craft history.

HOW TO USE

Basic Setup

1. Add the items you want to evaluate

Open Setup. Use Add a Craft Group to add every tier and enchantment in one item group, or use Add Crafts by Market Category to add a broader selection.

The filters only change which rows are visible. In the crafts table, enable the Craft checkbox for each item that should be included in combined totals, shopping lists, and selling lists.

2. Enter your specs

Open Specs and select a character or Manual Entry. Set the specialization levels shown for your added crafts.

Specs affect focus cost and crafted-item quality. Characters uploaded through the AFM Data Client are updated automatically; Manual Entry can be edited directly.

3. Configure how each item will be crafted

Return to Setup and set the following values on each craft you may use:

  • Craft Location: Select the city or hideout where you will craft. Set the hideout power level when applicable.
  • Runs: Enter the number of recipe executions. One run may produce more than one item.
  • Use Focus: Enable it only for crafts where you plan to spend focus.
  • RRR: Keep automatic RRR enabled to calculate it from the current settings, or disable it to enter your own rate.
  • Craft Fee: Enter the fee per nutrition displayed by the crafting station.
  • Journals and Consumables: Choose whether journals are included and add any food or other consumables used by the craft.
  • Daily Bonus and Extra Expenses: Set these when they apply to the planned run.
  • No Sales Tax: Enable this only when the finished product will be sold directly or otherwise outside the market. It does not remove journal fees.

Use the quick actions when you want runs based on daily sales, available focus, or mount capacity. The action attached to an individual Runs field can calculate runs from materials you already have.

Prices and Production

4. Set material prices

Open Inputs. For each material, select the purchase market and whether you will use a sell order, buy order, market average, or EMV price. EMV is available while logged in.

Refresh Prices retrieves current market data. The calculation uses User Price: use the apply-price action to copy the selected market price into that field, or enter the price you actually expect to pay. Refreshing fills empty user prices but preserves existing custom values.

RRR leftovers use the same item price and location and are treated as sell-order income, including the applicable setup fee and sales tax.

5. Link intermediate materials when you craft them yourself

In Inputs, enable Craft Internally on a craftable material instead of pricing it as a market purchase. Choose the recipe if the material has more than one.

The calculator adds or links the material's craft row and sets its runs from the selected parent crafts' demand. The parent stops buying that material; the linked craft contributes its own raw materials, fees, focus, returns, and other costs instead.

Use Sell Output only when you also want to produce extra units for sale. Output consumed by another selected craft is not counted as sale income.

6. Set product prices

Open Outputs. Select the selling market and price type for each product, then apply the selected market price or enter your expected sale price in User Price.

Market setup fees and sales taxes are calculated from the selected price type, Premium setting, and the No Sales Tax option on the craft.

Choose and Review

7. Compare crafts and finalize the plan

Open Compare to view the added crafts as cards. Sort by profit, profit percentage, amount sold per day, profit or extra profit per focus, fame per silver, or fame per focus.

Adjust locations, runs, fees, prices, and selection from the cards when needed. Return to Setup and leave Craft enabled only on the items that belong in the final operation.

8. Check quality and reroll assumptions

Open Qualities to see the expected quantity at each item quality using your current specs and quality consumables.

If you will reroll items, enable reroll calculation, choose the required quality and target percentage, and review the estimated rerolls and cost. The calculated or manually entered reroll total is included in expenses.

9. Review the operation

Open Results and confirm total income, expenses, upfront cost, profit, focus, fame, and weight. Expand each craft to verify its materials, RRR leftovers, outputs, fees, taxes, and additional costs.

Use Shopping List for the quantities to purchase at each market. Use Selling List for products and RRR leftovers to sell at each destination.

10. Save the setup or record the completed craft

Open Load & Save to name and save the craft group, load or clone a previous setup, or save the current selected operation as a completed craft.

Saving craft groups and completed craft history requires Masterpiece support. The calculator itself can still be configured and used without saving.
