How Much Fame to Reach Level 100 in Albion Online: The Destiny Board Explained

Every node on the Destiny Board levels from 0 to 100 with fame: fame from killing mobs with a weapon, from crafting an item, from gathering a resource or from harvesting a crop. This guide lists the fame each kind of node needs, explains how fame reaches a node, and turns the totals into crafts, resources and harvests.

All values below are read from the game's Destiny Board data, the same data the Destiny Calculator uses.

How the Destiny Board works

Most activities have two kinds of node:

  • Line nodes, such as Sword Fighter or Sword Crafter, cover every item of a line. Their levels unlock the tiers of that line: level 1 unlocks T4, level 10 unlocks T5, level 30 T6, level 60 T7 and level 100 T8.
  • Specializations, such as Broadsword Combat Specialist or Sword Crafting Specialist, cover one item. They make that item stronger or cheaper to craft and give a smaller bonus to the rest of the line.

Fame earned with an item goes in full to every node it belongs to. Fame from fighting with a Broadsword goes to Sword Fighter and to Broadsword Combat Specialist; crafting a Broadsword gives the same fame to Sword Crafter and to Sword Crafting Specialist. A line node needs less fame than its specializations, so it reaches 100 first.

Two bonuses speed it up:

Bonus Effect
Premium +50% fame on every node
Quick Learn Fame on the node counts five times, paid with Learning Points (see the Learning Points guide)

The gathering and refining rows use ore as the example; wood, fiber, hide and stone nodes need the same fame. Combat specializations continue past 100: their 20 elite levels, 101 to 120, need another 101,729,060 fame.

Half of it is in the last 20 levels

Each level needs more fame than the one before. For a weapon combat specialization:

Level Fame from 0 Share of the fame to 100
10 661,725 2%
30 2,729,832 8%
50 6,427,843 19%
80 18,099,296 53%
90 24,864,187 73%
100 33,910,220 100%

Level 1 needs 57,861 fame; level 100 alone needs 1,027,392. Reaching level 80 takes about as much fame as going from 80 to 100.

How much fame you get

Crafting

An item's crafting fame is the fame of the refined materials in its recipe, and each enchantment level doubles it:

Material tier Fame per bar, plank, cloth or leather
T4 22.5
T5 90
T6 270
T7 645
T8 1,395

A Broadsword takes 16 Metal Bars and 8 Leather, so an Adept's Broadsword (T4.0) gives 24 × 22.5 = 540 fame and an Elder's Broadsword (T8.0) gives 24 × 1,395 = 33,480. To take Sword Crafting Specialist from 0 to 100 with Premium:

Crafting Fame per craft with Premium Crafts to level 100
Master's Broadsword (T6.0) 9,720 2,651
Grandmaster's Broadsword (T7.0) 23,220 1,110
Elder's Broadsword (T8.0) 50,220 513

Sword Crafter gets the same fame and reaches 100 after half of those crafts. Studying items gives 275% of their crafting fame, without the crafting; the studying guide explains it, and the Study Calculator finds the cheapest items to study for any node.

Gathering

Each resource gives fixed fame, doubled by each enchantment level:

Ore .0 .1 .2 .3 .4
T4 7.5 15 30 60 120
T6 45 90 180 360 720
T8 150 300 600 1,200 2,400

Elder Ore Miner takes 149,925 T8.0 ore to reach 100 with Premium, or 18,741 T8.3 ore.

Farming

Every crop or herb harvest gives 100 fame, so a Carrot Farmer needs 13,453 harvests with Premium (2,017,942 ÷ 150). Raising an animal gives 100 fame for a farm animal, 100 to 600 for a riding mount depending on its tier, and 1,400 for a Firewing Drake.

Combat and fishing

Fame from mobs and fish depends on what you kill or catch, so there is no fixed count. Combat fame goes to the nodes of the gear you wear. The AFM Data Client records your sessions with the fame you earn per hour, which tells you how long a node will take:

Fame per hour Hours for a combat specialization, 0 to 100
500,000 68
1,000,000 34
2,000,000 17
