WHAT IS THIS TOOL?

The Portfolio Tracker keeps a clean ledger of every Albion Online trade you execute. Group transactions into positions, see the impact of fees and taxes, and surface realized versus unrealized profit so you always know where your silver is tied up.

It is ideal for flippers, crafters, transporters, and guild treasurers who need clear visibility into inventory value, cost basis, and trade performance across servers, items, and qualities.

HOW TO USE

Getting Started

Create Positions

Start by defining portfolio positions for each item and server you want to track:

  • Item: Select the item you are trading.
  • Server: Align each position with the market you are trading on.
  • Quality: Keep Normal, Good, Outstanding, Excellent, and Masterpiece stock separated.
  • Duplicate protection: Creating a position that already exists selects the existing one instead.

Adding Transactions

Import from the Data Client

If you use the AFM Data Client, you can select trades in the Trades tab and add them to your Portfolio without retyping each transaction.

  • Portfolio status: The Data Client shows which trades are already in your Portfolio.
  • Duplicate protection: You are warned before adding the same trade again.
  • Unknown quality: Trades without a known quality ask you to choose the quality before import.
  • Import size: Large selections are limited so Portfolio updates stay controlled and easy to review.

Log Buys, Sells, and Consumes

Each transaction updates the position metrics automatically:

  • Operation: Choose Buy, Sell, or Consume to determine how FIFO matching should behave.
  • Details: Enter Amount, Price, and toggle Premium to auto-set taxes.
  • Consumes: The unit price is calculated from your FIFO stock cost, shown rounded up for quick copying, and saved with its exact value.
  • Context: Specify Quality, Location, and Source/Destination (e.g. Buy Order).
  • Timing: Backdate trades with precise UTC date and time so manual entries and Data Client imports line up consistently.

Reviewing Performance

Position Metrics

The Portfolio tab surfaces live metrics for every tracked item:

  • Held Quantity: FIFO leftovers show how many items remain unsold.
  • Average Unit Price: Updated dynamically as you build your position.
  • Realized vs. Unrealized P/L: Compare booked silver to potential gains using the newest EMV for the position's server and quality. When EMV is unavailable, valuation falls back to your average cost.
  • Refresh: Reload your Portfolio positions from the page when you want the latest saved data.
  • Item Tooltips: Matching held stock appears in item tooltips for your current server, grouped by quality.
  • History: Long transaction lists show newest entries first and page older entries for easier scanning.

Each position includes a price history chart overlaid with your transaction events, helping you visualize your entry and exit points against market trends.

Tips for Power Users

Best Practices

  • Log Immediately: Enter trades as they happen to avoid stale data and retroactive guesswork.
  • Use UTC: The Portfolio page enters and displays transaction times in UTC, matching the game time.
  • Check Prices: Use the built-in Check Price button to quickly verify current market rates.
  • Add Context: Notes help you remember why trades were made when reviewing performance later.
  • Audit Regularly: Reconcile positions with in-game inventory to catch missing entries.
