Community Tokens and Royal Sigils in Albion Online: What They Are For and Where to Use Them
You spend Community Tokens at the Vanity Merchant on wardrobe skins, mount skins, Avatar Rings and Victory Emote charges. They cannot be traded, so they have no silver value: use them on something you want to look at.
Royal Sigils are a tradable crafting material. They turn a normal armor piece into its Royal version, and if you do not need that, you can sell them on the Marketplace for silver.

Community Tokens
Where Community Tokens come from
- Community Chests from Twitch Drops. Link your Twitch account to your Albion Online account and you can claim up to seven Community Chests a week. They hold vanity items, Victory Emote charges and Community Tokens. Rewards you do not want, such as a skin you already own, can be salvaged into Community Tokens; the developers name the Repair Station and the Artifact Foundry as the places to salvage.
- Achievements in the Albion Journal. 62 achievements pay Community Tokens, from 5 to 300 each and 2,600 in total. A few of the bigger ones: help loot 300 Castle Outpost Chests (300), unlock a Legendary Chest in a Dragon Sanctuary (200), harvest resources from all Resource Mob types (200) and earn a billion silver through the Black Market (100).
- Bundles and gifts. Some starter bundles and gifts include a few hundred Community Tokens.

The Albion Journal viewer lists every achievement in the game. Pick Community Token in its reward filter and it shows only the 62 that pay tokens, grouped by category.

What to buy with Community Tokens
Open the Vanity Merchant and look at the Wardrobe, Mount Skins, Victory Emotes and Avatars tabs. None of these cost any silver:
| What you get | Community Tokens |
|---|---|
| 5 charges of the Guild Banner, Overgrown, Desktop Banner, Mobile Banner or Controller Banner Victory Emote | 2 |
| 5 charges of the Ghost, Tombstone, Hammer or Sword Victory Emote | 10 |
| 5 charges of the Hellgate Victory Emote | 50 |
| Most wardrobe skins for a hat, shoes or a small off-hand | 50 |
| Wardrobe skins for a robe, suit, dress or larger off-hand, and the Entertainer's set | 100 to 200 |
| Avatar Rings: Adventurer, Nature Spirit, Inferno, Enigma, Crossed Blades, Farmer, Crossed Axes, Fisherman, Necromancer | 200 |
| Avatar: Adventurer | 300 |
| Brown Mare, Black Market Ox or Expert's Heraldic Warhorse skin | 100 |
| Keeper Horse, Auction House Ox, Master's or Grandmaster's Heraldic Warhorse skin | 200 |
| Nightshade Unicorn, Royal Ox or Elder's Heraldic Warhorse skin | 800 |
| Hyena Cape or Snow Leopard Cape skin | 800 |
| Fennec (Direwolf), Green Chimera or Amethyst Unicorn (Riding Horse), Amethyst Cougar (Swiftclaw) or Brown Alpaca (Stag) skin | 1,600 |
Everything you buy here is cosmetic and bound to you: none of it can be traded, so nothing bought with tokens turns into silver later. Salvaging gives back less than an item costs, so buy what you mean to keep.
Noble Community Tokens
Noble Community Tokens are a separate currency. They come from salvaging the rewards of Noble Community Chests, which Twitch Drops hand out every other week from partnered creator streams, up to seven each time. The Vanity Merchant sells for them:
| What you get | Noble Community Tokens |
|---|---|
| Snack-O'-Lantern, Burp-O'-Lantern or Grump-O'-Lantern off-hand skin | 25 |
| Noble Knight's Helmet, Armor, Shoes or Cape skin | 40 each |
| Direboar Skin: Buttercup or Swiftclaw Skin: Flamescale | 80 |
You can also salvage Noble Community Tokens into normal Community Tokens.
Royal Sigils

There are five Royal Sigils, one per tier: Adept's (T4), Expert's (T5), Master's (T6), Grandmaster's (T7) and Elder's (T8). Unlike Community Tokens, they can be traded and sold.
Where Royal Sigils come from
- First Steps. The First Steps mission "Finish a Randomized Dungeon" in the Albion Journal gives one Adept's Royal Sigil. That is the sigil most new players find in their inventory.
- The Arena. Winning in the Arena earns Arena Sigils. Arena Master Joan sells an Adept's, Expert's or Master's Royal Sigil for 9 Arena Sigils each, in the Rewards tab. Arena Sigils themselves cannot be traded.
- The Artifact Foundry. Its Transmute tab turns two sigils into one of the next tier, from Expert's up to Elder's. Grandmaster's and Elder's sigils are only made this way. There is no way back down.
- The Marketplace. Buy them from other players.
Two older items still turn into sigils if you have them: a Sealed Royal Sigil opens into a random one (59% Adept's, 30% Expert's, 10% Master's, 1% Grandmaster's, 0.2% Elder's), and an Arena Sigil (Discontinued) can be salvaged for a chance at an Adept's Royal Sigil.
Royal armor: what Royal Sigils are for
A Royal piece is made from one normal armor piece plus Royal Sigils of the same tier. The normal piece can come from any of the three sets of that armor type, and its enchantment and quality carry over to the Royal piece.

| Tier | Sigil | Head | Chest | Feet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T4 | Adept's Royal Sigil | 2 | 4 | 2 |
| T5 | Expert's Royal Sigil | 4 | 8 | 4 |
| T6 | Master's Royal Sigil | 8 | 16 | 8 |
| T7 | Grandmaster's Royal Sigil | 8 | 16 | 8 |
| T8 | Elder's Royal Sigil | 8 | 16 | 8 |
The count is the same at every enchantment, from .0 to .4. Cloth pieces are made at a Mage's Tower, leather at a Hunter's Lodge and plate at a Warrior's Forge.
| Royal piece | Made from | Royal-only spell |
|---|---|---|
| Royal Cowl | Scholar, Cleric or Mage Cowl | Perpetual Energy |
| Royal Robe | Scholar, Cleric or Mage Robe | Magic Rune |
| Royal Sandals | Scholar, Cleric or Mage Sandals | Defenseless Rush |
| Royal Hood | Mercenary, Hunter or Assassin Hood | Growing Rage |
| Royal Jacket | Mercenary, Hunter or Assassin Jacket | Royal Banner |
| Royal Shoes | Mercenary, Hunter or Assassin Shoes | Evasive Jump |
| Royal Helmet | Soldier, Knight or Guardian Helmet | Ballista Support Fire |
| Royal Armor | Soldier, Knight or Guardian Armor | Energy Source |
| Royal Boots | Soldier, Knight or Guardian Boots | Royal March |
What the Royal version gives you:
- 25 more item power than the same piece from a normal set, at every tier and enchantment: 725 instead of 700 at 4.0, 1,125 instead of 1,100 at 8.0. The item power guide shows how that adds up.
- 50% more durability.
- Its own spell. A Royal piece keeps the spells its armor type shares and swaps the set's special spell for the Royal-only one in the table.
Before you upgrade, check the Royal piece's price on Price Check against the normal piece plus the sigils. Sometimes buying the Royal piece ready-made is cheaper.
What a Royal Sigil is worth

Cheapest sell order in the royal cities and Brecilien on 3 November 2026, rounded:
| Sigil | Americas | Europe | Asia |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adept's Royal Sigil | 31,000 | 47,000 | 54,000 |
| Expert's Royal Sigil | 41,000 | 55,000 | 67,000 |
| Master's Royal Sigil | 39,000 | 47,000 | 54,000 |
| Grandmaster's Royal Sigil | 79,000 | 100,000 | 143,000 |
| Elder's Royal Sigil | 200,000 | 240,000 | 295,000 |
Prices move every day, so open Price Check for the Adept's Royal Sigil for today's prices on your server; the page lists the other tiers too. Three things stand out:
- Adept's, Expert's and Master's sell for about the same. The Arena Master asks the same 9 Arena Sigils for each of the three, which keeps their prices close. If you trade in Arena Sigils, take the one that sells for the most on your server.
- Grandmaster's and Elder's are rare and pricey. They can only be transmuted from lower tiers, and few are listed: on Asia only one city had either on sale that day. Transmuting pays only when the higher tier sells for more than two of the lower one.
- A single sigil is good money for a new character. If you have the Adept's Royal Sigil from First Steps and no plan to make a T4 Royal piece, sell it. Selling to a buy order pays at once; a sell order usually pays a little more but you wait for a buyer. The selling guide explains both.
